Rima Fakih won the Miss USA on May 16, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Presentation of the State of Michigan, she beat 50 other participants from 49 states shows and the District of Columbia to be named Miss USA 2010. Rima Fakih is Lebanese-American who was born in Lebanon and emigrated to the United States in 1993 when she was about seven years. She was "born in Lebanon and raised in New York and Dearborn, Michigan, Muslim and Christian," says Las Vegas Review Journal. Fakih graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she earned a BA in Economics received a minor in business administration, as the Miss USA website. She won the title of Miss Michigan in 2009. Miss USA 2010, she won the right to the Miss Universe pageant in 2010 to participate in the final.
